this model needs to be the ir5000n to print

to check enter service mode *2+8*
    then look in copier
    then version
    look for boot
if it says boot c then machine will never print its a copier not network ready

if it is a c boot rom then costs to change it would not be worth the effort

thats even if you can get hold a n boot rom

    sorry if this bad news

      Welshy's right...
even though a parallel port is present if it's not setup as a printer it will never print.
