IR5075 auto paper select from glass

    IR5075 auto paper select from glass

    Hi I have a problem that when you put a sheet of letter paper on the glass and close the adf the auto paper select thinks it is 11X17 when you place it on the glass in the ltr-r position it thinks it is legal.
    does anyone know what settings or adjustment apply. I cant find anything in the service manual.

      in Service Mode--------------Enter service mode by pressing the additional functions *key, #2 and #8 Keys simultaneously, and then additional functions *key again.

      Make sure Level 1>COPIER>OPTION>BODY> MODEL-SZ is set to "1".

      press additional functions *key >then #2 key for Level 2
      then Check Level 2 >COPIER>OPTION>BODY>SENS-CNF is set to"1"

      Power down on the control panel and power down on the right side to reboot the machine.

      In level 2 service mode COPIER>DISPLAY>SENSOR>DOC SIZE will display the size of paper on the glass when the lid/feeder is closed

      Also--Check the setting under Level 2> COPIER>OPTION>BODY>MODELSZ2. This setting is used to enable / disable platen board original size detection ( for global support; AB / inch mix ) Check to see if this is set to "1". If this setting is a "1" it may cause the paper to be misread off the glass.

              Fixed . IN level 2 service mode >COPIER>OPTION>BODY>SENS-CNF was set to 0 changing it to 1 was the solution.
