[Jamming] iRC4580 and paper pick up

    Hi
    we have a strange case:

our IRC draws about 4cm., after we switch on the device or he waking up from sleep mode, a paper from the cassette 1. if the Cassette 1 es empty, from Cassette 2 and etc.

    Configuration is:
    iRC 4580 System Software v93.01
    Paper deck
    Booklet finisher

    any Idea?

    power off printer
    remove both cassettes
    power back up
see if u get a jam message without cassettes

    cassette pickup solenoids/

Before replacing any parts try re-seating all circuit boards that plug into MCON and DCON

You changed Dcon...did you clear the ram on it after changing it? Personally a would back up all service data(p print),clear Dcon and Main Ram,then re-install system software as a start....

forgot to mention to look inside cassette bay and observe the pick up // see if there is a drop & rotation of pick up rollers on power on
