Hi everybody.
Went to a customer to fix stripes in magenta developer and change transfer belt.
I performed 2 easy operations:
Replaced transfer belt with a new one, cleaned magenta developer, removed toner clumps blocking behind doctor blade. Refilled dev.
Reassembled machine.
Printed PG10.
- Disaster - see pics attached.
Yellow is printed, 2 stripes of magenta aswell (It is red ceramic toner instead of magenta, which is running on many C1 machines, so nevermind. I know original Canon toner should be used, but this is not the issue here - i know this toner is working)
Cyan and Black are not printed as the machine gives several E20-02xx Errors.
These point to the patch sensor.
So the print seems to be interrupted after printing the first 2 stripes of magenta.
So i cleaned the patch sensor windows, which where dusted with toner. Did not change anything.
Then cleaned the ATR sensor window, which was also dusted. Did not change anything.
Then tried a different (used) dev. unit.
It worked fine for one print, then the problem occured again.
Performed INIT-M, did not change anything.
Performed gradation adjust (quick) did not change anything.
DENS Values all look fine to me.
Cleaned the ERR-Hist, no change.
Has anyone of you guys seen this happen?
I would appreciate any help, as i need to fix the problem and the customer is situated 750 km away. - I don't want to go there 2 more times.
I thought of triing a new dev unit and a new patch sensor.
Could this be a PCB related problem?
What should i definetely take with me? (Spare parts i mean)
