I have a IR C5250 that is giving a 1/2 page black scanning or copying. This happens on single sided scans and copies. Printing is fine. This scan was fed through the feeder with the 11" edge leading (guides to adf open to 11" width). See attachment for sample. The image fault looks the same when this 1/2 black page page is viewed but the break of image and black area are different within the 2 scans attached. 1 attachment has image that fades out to black and the other is a clean change from image to black. Again see attachments for these details.
This has happened once before and went away each time before I arrived. Same this time. The customer shut machine down with main switch and it came back working ok. Last time this happened was a month or 2 ago. It is an intermittent problem.
