[Misc] Canon IR4025i fixing film problem

    Hey all,

Need some advice on Canon IR4025. This copier has metal fixing film. And that metal film keeps brakeing. First film unit i replaced on 60k copys. Now 7 months later counter reached 100k and again fixing film broken. cant seem to find any reasonable reason why this keeps happening. Mayby anyone has some ideas or mayby there is some service bulletins for this kind of problem?

    Thanks in advance

Did you just replaced fixing film only? Are you using the compatible parts? If you replaced the film only, did you use the right grease?

Could the problem be in whole fixing unit itself? Or is customer really just roughly himself destroing device which i hardly doubt.

You might have to replace the whole assembly. I had one file break at 19000 copies and I replaced the assembly.
