    ================================================

    Make sure to first try this >>> Open Interface and Video boards > uninstall and reinstall both at the same time

    When connected to the GX300 ColorPASS, a message of "Could Not Detect the Video Board" is Displayed

    -First, try re-seating the Open Interface PCB and the Video Board PCB / Image Controller PCB.
    -Next, try reloading the System Software onto the RIP, if re-seating the boards does not fix the issue.
    -If the problem persist, then replace the Video Board PCB / Image Controller PCB in the ColorPASS GX300.
    The Part Number for the Video Board / Image Controller PCB is FE1-6424-000.

    Note:
    In the Parts Service Manual for
    the GX300 the Video Board PCB is referred to as the Image Controller PCB.
    ================================================== ==============================
    Also

    'Unable to detect video boards: Make sure video boards are installed' appears at the top of the monitor screen. Also, on the engine control panel the message: 'Unable to detect video GX300' is displayed in the Printer display screen
    The GX300 must be connected to the imageRUNNER Advance with both the crossover Ethernet and video cables, and the imageRUNNER Advance must be plugged in, (NOTE: the imageRUNNER Adv. does not have to be powered on, if the GX300 is powered on without the video cable being connected to the imageRUNNER Advance the message will be displayed).

    To clear the message try the following:

    1. Power down both the imageRUNNER Adv and the GX300, connect the video cable to both devices, and power back on, If the messages are still displayed move on to step #2.

    2. On the GX300 check the Device Manager in My Computer for the 'EFI controllers/EFI vx500 device.

    3. If the EFI controllers/EFI vx500 device is not found, load system software.
    Be sure the GX300 is connected via crossover Ethernet ,and video cable and that the imageRUNNER Advance power cable is plugged in,
    DO NOT LOAD SYSTEM SOFTWARE ON THE GX300 AS A STAND ALONE DEVICE!
    **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
