    [Jamming] IR 2520

    hi everybody

    i have a jam of code 0205

    it is only appears in the third or fourth paper of a duplex job

    the paper stops in the duplex pass and the machine continue rotating for about two minetes

    after that the jam happened

    i tried to upgrade the firmware from 7 to 77 version with no advance

    ###if i use A4R no problem#####

    i checked the pre registration sensor and it is ok

    anyone can help please

      0205 Jam Code
       stationary jam at the Pre-registration sensor S5.


      go to SERVICE MODE>#PRINT>#PRINT NUMERIC>61 and change the value to 165
      a wrap to sensor actuator spring for S7 Duplex Feed Sensor
      try replacing the Second Reverse Delivery PCB Assembly
      Duplex Feed clutch (CL4)/ FK2-9154-000

      1. Be sure to execute ''ALL CLEAR'' after upgrading the System Software from v50-xx
      or earlier' to 'v61-xx or later'.
      Also, be sure to back up the following data with RUI in advance because the data will
      be reset to the value at the time of factory shipment.
      -Address Book
      -User data
      -Additional Functions Mode
      Import the backup data with RUI after performing ''ALL CLEAR''.

      1. Be sure to upgrade the BOOT to 'v00.60 or later' when upgrading the System Software
      from 'v50-xx or earlier' to 'v61-xx or later'.
      Be sure to upgrade the BOOT before upgrading the System.
      3--
      Compliance with Lot6 for products for Europe:
      - Version upgrade for products for Europe.
      - No need to install other than the products for Europe.
      - Do not install the former version to machines complied with Lot6 to be delivered to
      Europe because only from this version it complies with the European environmental
      rules (Lot6).
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

          I have this problem. Problem is in the duplex clutch

              Had a similar issue with an IR4025 but the fuser units are the same so maybe this will help.
