Canon ir2010 clear password

Hi all,
I work for International Copier Exchange. We got in a bunch of ir2010s and I can't pass them because I can't figure out how to clear the password. *28* does not work.
please help

I think you have use the *,2,8,* but remember it is not the 2 & 8 together push the keys individually.....that puts into the service mode

I tried *,2,8,* also but still don't work. Thanks anyway though

That does not work on the iR2010 series, you get into service mode like the faxes, additional function, then #

hi guys.when you want to get to access the service mode in the ir-1605-1600-2000-2010 series you have to press additional function key once then you press the ID key once then you can get the service mode.choose clear by the left-right arrows & press OK then choose ALL &press OK .turn ON/OFF the main swich
or you can try printer reset.the same steps but you choose printer& press OK then (Printer rest)&press OK.Turn the main swich ON/OFF
