my printer clc 4040 when it reaches 3/4 of the loading bar gives me an error E732-0001. How can I solve the problem?
thank you.
sorry for my english
First_ unplug printer from wall outlet
Next_remove the Reader to Printer interface cable both sides
Next_reseat both both ends
Plug back printer into outlet, power back printer.
See if u get lucky.
Tip_never remove or attach interface cables while printer is plugged into an outlet.
E732 0001 refers to the Reader Unit. There are remote signals that the Main Controller PCB uses to determine the Readers presence. If that signal is missing, then 13V will not be supplied to the Reader Unit and hence E732 error.
1) Confirm that the Reader is properly connected to the main engine.
2) Check connector J1035 pin1 on the Main Controller PCB which is RMT-CONT-1. RMT-CONT-1 is the remote signal that tells the Main Controller the Reader and DADF are present. If the signal is missing, 13V is not being supplied to the Reader Controller and hence E732 0001.
Also_Check Molex connection (J2M) at the rear of the machine.
Remove rear cover, inspect connections and reseat J2M. If the rear cover is not installed correctly it can prevent the proper
seating of J2M. This connector is located on the right rear side of the machine and provides power and communication to the Reader Unit.
