c5035 Blank control panel w/green light on

The green power light is on and initial rotation occurs. After about 25 seconds after the power is switched on the machine reboots itself and goes through initial rotation again. No codes (or anything else) on display up to 5 minutes after power is on.

What I have done:
- reconnected control panel connector on back/left side of machine (large white connector w/thumb tabs)
- removed and cleaned all Dimm and boot rom chips on main con 1 and 2
- removed fax (no print board/fiery controller on machine)
-reseated hdd connector on both ends
-removed dimms one at a time to see if panel came back up with error code - it didn't

I plan on going back tomorrow with Dimms, boot rom, and hdd. I have a c5045 parts machine but I'm pretty sure the main controllers are different than the c5035.

Any other ideas?

Went back today and replaced all dimm's and boot rom, hdd and main con 2 (right side as seen from rear) with parts from a working c5045. Exact same problem, no fix.

I'm going to order a main con #1 and come back. I guess I could bring hdd cables and the cable from control panel to main con 2.

Could the dc con cause this? Anything else I should bring when I come back?

We've had the no power and only the green light issue a few times, don't recall the machine cycling though. It was either the power supply or the all night power supply.

I have noticed that all the advance copiers series the main control 1 is burned always i still dont know the reason ill be thankfull if anyone can tell us whats going on ,if theres any bullten or if theres a repair way instead we replace the main pcb1 . Also cos its cost expensive

It's actually cheaper for me to buy a whole working c5035 parts machine than the main con 1 by itself. I'll post again after I install the main con 1.

I do have an account with Hytec and use them occasionally but an advanced exchange for a Main Con 1 was over $900. Repair and return was somewhere around $330 but I don't have time to wait that long. I'm getting a whole machine from a local wholesaler for not much more than the Hytec repair and return price. In this case it's a better choice for me. I'll have it quickly and I'll have a whole machine for parts.
