I have a problem with ir 2016 installation, i had made install and when the PC have to locate the copier he can`t!!! The copier is new.there is just USB conector and no parallel port, but why in the guide was the LPT1 recomendet. The driver is origin!!!

I don't know if this model of copier needs an additional cards to make it capable to print by computer request.
You should use the usb connector to connect the pc to copier, and the copier driver must have a name like PCL5.

if your machine is IR 2016 you must have print kit J1 or J2 if you want to print.

If your machine is IR 2016J, it is only copier and can not be upgraded to printer.

hi guys.i have the same opinion of mr xcopoytech.
if the machine is 2016 or 2016i you have to add aprinter kit card& connect it to pc via usb cable but if it is 2016j it does not accept any cards working copier only&the usb port i guess fo software upgrade
