    IR3225 Scanning

    When my customer uses color network scan gear from adf, it will only scan 1 page and then prompt for more and she has to repeat the whole cycle again. She has usend so we set that up and it works fine but she likes the scan gear because she's used to it. Couldn't find a setting anywhere. Anybody ever seen this? TIA

      What application is she scanning into?

      Scangear is only an applet, not a scanning application.

      Try something as basic as Irfanview to scan into as a test. It could very well be there is an issue with the application, not Scangear or the copier.

          Adobe 8. She was using Adobe with the ir2200 and it was fine. Switched it out with 3225 and installed color scangear

              Try installing Irfanview. Just Google it, it's easy to find.

              Acrobat has its own layer of "stuff" for scanning, and that may be where the problem lies.

                  Acrobat was fine with scangear using ir2200. This only started happening when we moved a 3225 in and installed color network scan gear. Scan to folder works fine but customer is used to using acrobat. She's using scan to folder but I'd like to solve this

                      One time I was having alienment issues. Turns out within Adobe, Adobe had high jacked the program and was using Adobe drivers. Within the app look for a settings menu where it would say " Use native scanner drivers". Should be a drop down box.

                              I got this working by reinstalling network scan gear. Customer is using scan to folder feature anyway. But now she has both

                                  I thought acrobat died! : ) Nuance eCopy / Power PDF is what I recommend to replace Acrobat. just a FYI.
