canon ir 3035 not fusing

I have a ir3035 not fusing until the temp is turned up to 7, one fuser was rebuilt , didn't fix. Then a fuser out of a running machine was installed, still not fusing until cranked up to 7. The machine is in a temperature controlled office, good paper from our office. I'm afraid it's going to burn out the fixing film assembly and leave the customer stranded. All signs lead me to the DC controller , just wondering if I'm overlooking something simple.

I had to turn up the temp on a 2525 to fuse and have not gone back. I doubt it will burn up the fixing film. But I am like you, something is wrong.

Make sure your getting pressure on the fuser when the door closes, manually push the pressure arm then close the door and see what happens

I am using ir3045 and have the same issue. Some of the tech said might be fuser film or temperature roller or dc problem. I have to adjust the temperature setting to 7. If less than that number the toner are easy to wipe out from the paper.

Check fuser temp in service mode.if temp is satisfactory then fix presure is bad.
