    CLC3200-C1 With print problems

    Good morning everyone,

    We have a CLC3200 with a C1 fiery print controller with a communication error between the two. The machine is giving either an E677-0010 error message on boot up or it boots up OK but when trying to get into the fiery set up the machine hangs up and does nothing.

    If we use the copy, scan or other functions the machine works fine, on prints it will only print 1 set of documents regardless of how many are req.

    So far we have updated the system software of both the fiery and the CLC to the latest versions available as per a UFO report on the Canon dealernet but are fast running out of ideas.

    I don't know if it is also something related but when going into the error code log it seems to have listed each error twice!!!

    has this configuration been in operation before or is this a new install?

      Hello,

      Many thanks for replying, it was in operation before but I think we may have solved the problem.

      One of our engineers had loaded the new system software onto it as I said in my previous post but in the wrong order!!! I know this shouldn't really make a difference, but it seems that loading the updated fiery software before the machines, caused it to go for a fruit loop.

      At the moment it seems to be working so we are keeping everything crossed.
