    Canon Imageclass MF8180c

Someone gave me a Canon Imageclass 8180c laser printer.

They told me the only problem was that they believed the toner cartridges would nees to be replaced. Because of the cost of these cartridges that was the reason they were giving it away.

I got it home and ordered the refill kit, and it worked flawlessly.

For many months I have enjoyed this printer so much. I really do not do that much printing being that now it is just be used for personal use.

Now lately what is happening is that I will go to print a document, and all I get is a blank document. I have to keep printing the same document over and over.

Eventually it will print, but this is driving me crazy, as I can not figure out what is going on.

Now here are a few things I noticed.

When it does print it prints flawlessly.

A few times I have seen it print just one color like yellow.

Can anyone please give me some advise as to what this problem could be.

    I really love this printer

    Thank you for your time

      Probably sticky solenoid or clutch.

1.First remove covers and find solenoid.
2.remove foam from solenoid and ensure that no more sticky surface.

I checked checked and double checked and could not find this solenoid.

Still not sure what it could be
