[Misc] iradv-6055 locking handle for fixing/feeder assy

    hi everyone,

I have an IRadv6055, which the green locking handle that locks in the fixing/feeder assy into the machine, is not locking, the fixing/feeder assy moves in and out fine but when trying to lock the assy into position it just refuses to lock.

I swapped another Fixing/feeder assy from another machine which I know works as was tested before swapping and this also refuses to work in the problem machine, which suggests the issue lies with something on the rear plate of the machine.

Does anyone have an idea of how this locks in at the rear plate, so i have an idea of what to be looking for?

    tks

If you follow the shaft to the rear of the assembly there is a white plastic piece that turns and locks on the back side of the machine. The screw comes loose and the piece falls off or is not lined up right. I am surprised the one working did not lock. Maybe something on the rear keeping it from locking. I can not remember if you can see it if you take the back cover off. We just replace the one piece. I think there is barely enough room to take it out when the release tabs are done. Something in there gets bent. We have had new machines with problems out of the box.

does the green handle physically lock all the way up? and you can close the front door?

        Hey,

sorry for late reply and thanks for the response, yep it was the white block in the rear plate had fallen off, screw nowhere to be found...very strange how a screw can completely undo itself and fall into the machine haha...once the white block was screwed back in, locking handle now locks...

        tks guys!
