I have not been to the customer yet, but he is using generic toners. How do these things hold up with that? Could that be an issue (as I suspect it is?) Or is something else (maybe) going on? Thanks in advance,
OC

Something inside those drums locks up and you get gear skipping noise. Generic toner would cause copy quality and maybe errors reading toner. We only use OEM canon toner and I have had three drums with noise. Was only able to get rid of noise on one. Took part off by drum chip. a gear falls out when you do it but easy to put back in.
