Canon C5051 Generic Drums cause High Pitch HVT1 Noise for you?

There are some certain generic drums causing high pitch noise in these high speed machines. Some say there is no problem but I know there is. I have seen these generic drums work alright in the C5035 with no HVT1 Noise and toner leakage. This matches the fact that if you take C5035 Genuine Canon drums and put them in a C5045 unit, the HVT1 will start to make a high pitch noise!

Does anyone here have anything to add to this? I want to get away from these but thought I would ask for more info.

we use Katan drums...dont forget to do a DPC in service mode. this resets the drum count and HVT settings.
only replace the drum once and then replace with canon genuine part
