[Misc] IR 1024 IF - Not possible to use 'send' utility.

Hello everyone
I own 2 iR1024iF on the first I can use 'scan to folder / email, "I can set up address book so i use it to send documents via the network. On the second i can not, just set on sending by fax, as if it were disabled each utility send (like a ir1024) I can only use the scanner with toolbox via uSB.
I thought 1) to update the firmware but I have not suitable for sst 1024if.
2) Save the printer firmware running and install it on the non-functional 3) unlock the sending functions.
Has anyone ever had this problem?

just one question : where can I get the latest firmware and what is the procedure ? I found a firmware but do not know if it's the last . the procedure is through ssc ?

You don't need last one.Just re-load firmware.

I'm back, I updated the BOOT and the SYSTEM, but failed to update the PCL, it gives me ERROR CODE 122. restart the printer does not change anything. What can I do?

ERROR CODE 122---------= Re Register your Firmware in SST


When updating the version of Boot (boot program) and System (main controller) at the same time, make sure to first update Boot. If you start by updating System,
the unit may not start up.

what is your 1024iF Firmware Ver ???

have you check all board connections -- remove and re-seat ?

NOTE: U can have only one version of SST on Laptop/PC, U need to uninstall old SST first, it will not effect 1024iF Firmware,
just know location of 1024iF firmware to re-register it in new SST.

Good evening, I apologize for the absence.
..i don't understand, sst start ver. 4.63e, start writing and tells me I have the 3.32ea version. In the attached file it highlights the steps of BOOT writing and, below, writing PCL. Can you tell me if I have an updated version of the firmware and sst? possibly Do you know where I can find the updated versions? It seems to me that even if I confirms the correct firmware writing as in the case of BOOT SYSTEM, and in fact do not write anything.

You can only have one ver of SST on laptop.
Uninstall older version, printer firmware will remain, after uninstall open the SST v4.63, see if printer firmware is registered in it, if not re-register it in SST.
