    IR 9075 Panel lock up

    This place is 30 miles away. Scheduling for tomorrow am. Trying to be prepared.
    Other than board or connectors- anything else to o for.
    When freezes If they turn off then on. all comes to ready. able to use touch screen control panel on copier. If freezes can still send print jobs ok. HERE IS THE ODD part. If screen ok and then when using doc feeder, it will more frequently cause machine jams and the screen freezes at same time.
    SO now often Jam in doc feed and then at same time the screen freezes.If clear doc jam unless they cycle machine off then on they can 't get a ready state in doc feeder.

      Jam or error codes logged? Probably 0094 logged in jams. You try to feed paper using document feeder, hit start, it declares jam. Wont go away unless you reboot machine...correct?

          Because of the cycle on _off, I would check the
          SDRAM DIMM's.

                  1st , my typo. is a IR 7095 not 9075 . Sorry for typo.
                  2nd good tips will check. The Company/Firm is away til early next week to a convention.

                  3rd re panel lock up
                  Screen lock up. Often happens in middle of varied size doc feed jobs. When clear can still send print jobs to prints but panel screen (touch part only - locks up)

                  May be coincidental                   but haven't had lock up when using platen.
