    [Misc] Noisy DR-7550C Scanners

    Hello,

I have 2 noisy scanners that I've been sent to look at.

My colleague has changed all the bearings, but is now on holiday and it's bounced back.

If I put a bit of pressure on the lid it's nice and quiet, so it seems to be some sort of vibration?

    Any help would be great.

    Thank you

    Is noise\vibration when feeding _?

Check Separation Roller Assembly Belts for a missing tooth or teeth.
Has the pick-up solenoid ever been replaced.

Sorry for the delay, I forgot all about this.

Yes it is when feeding only. But goes quiet when I lean on the lid.

No missing teeth, solenoid hasn't been changed. Scanners are booth coming up to one million scans.

      Thanks for your advice.

      Rob.
