loud screach noise canon c5030

I have a machine that makes a loud screech noise when a door is opened or closed or the doc feeder is lifted or it comes out of energy saver. ran all parts checks in service mode never happens. It also never happens when printing copying or scanning. Replacing fixing assy today taking a laser motor just in case. Already thought about scanner its not moving when this occurs. Fan and motor checks produce no abnormal noise. I replaced the hard drive with no luck. CQ is great. Any help would be appreciated.

The fixing film tends to cause that noise. The film turns at a different speed during those times it makes that noise, compare to the normal speed it turns during prints or testing.

Sorry its been a busy month but the fusing film solved the problem. Loud fuser film.

Common issue, another way to tell is to select copy and choose a paper tray. The film will start to turn at that point at a reduced speed and generate that noise.
