    Canon IR C5030 no connection

Can someone help out? We are trying to install a Canon IR C5030 that had previously been working ok. We did not have the admin password. Went into the service mode and cleared the password and rebooted machine and initialized the network settings. Now have access to the network settings, but under "TCP/IP setting" the IPv4/IPv6 /DNS Settings folders are missing. In the manual it shows them. The machine has no IP address yet, so we can't access it through Remote UI. (it is turned on though) the network port light is not lit up. I also was not able to connect it directly with USB. I am logging in as system manager, is there a deeper login? Is there a setting somewhere we are missing that disables all networking?

    Thank you for any help

and a couple other settings but the IP settings are missing, not grayed out. Could this come from something being unplugged inside the printer? This was supposed to be any easy install on a couple computers, and since we hadn't sold the machine, we didn't want to dig into it too much if we don't have to.

Did it have a fiery at one time? Perhaps the interface setting is set to have a fiery?

that actually could be there were screws on the back that were only hand tightened and it seemed as if there would have been one a fiery on at one time. If so what are the option? Firmware upgrade? or can it be changed in the service mode?

IMG-CONT> "3" is set for a imagePass Fiery BOX

                    Example below

                    Copier > Option > INT-FACE > IMG-CONT>

Set yours to "0" power off>on

Thanks a lot that fixed up all the network issues, however now they want a fax kit installed. Will the machine recognize it or will it have to be set in the service menu?

The machine should recognize it. Kit comes with speaker.

We installed the fax kit everything seems to fit OK. We are using a used board so it so everything was fastened inside the box already when we got it. There was the bigger micro centronics type cable and one female end fastener that clipped to the fax kit box. I have one orange male 2 wire connector loose in the copier that seems to go into this female end. Those are the only to wires there seemed to be for the kit. But when the machine is turned on it will power up to a lighted screen and then power back off and it wants to do keep doing this, if I have the fax kit connected. Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted in the service menu?
Thanks, I really appreciate all the help I've gotten from you guys! I hate to keep posting stuff that should be simple to figure out.
