    [Misc] Canon IRAC 5235i service mode password Blocked????????

    Hi Fellow Tech's,

    Please oh please some tell me they know what the hell this is all about.

    One of my techs went out to a client to configure a couple of users to print when he noticed he could not login with the system manager password, He then tried to clear it in service mode so he could punch in a new system manager password, when he noticed this........

    At first i thought my tech was pulling my leg but when i looked at it personally i found the above (picture), tried a whole bunch of ID'S but nothing seems to work. I have gone through the manuals and found nothing related, and honestly i have never seen a password locked service mode before nor did i know that it could be done.

    Anyone with any suggestions would be a great help as i don't even know where to start....

      You can change the password in download mode.

      Located in backup (5)

              Download the system software onto USB...boot from USB and you can clear it from there...

                  I believe the default on that is 11111111 unless someone changed it. or you can do as the others have suggested by clearing it out
