[Misc] Black Strikes on prints Canon IRADV C5051i

Dear All,
Some of our IRADV 5051 series machines is giving black stikes on the print.

We already replaced black developing unit,ITB Unit and fixing unit and cleaned all the paper path.

Still the black strikes are comming.

Please suggest some possible solution for the issue,also attached the test pages.

Did u check drum for arc marks _?

U said on Prints, is issue on Glass copies_?
Do the travel on continuous prints, as in various areas_?

Yes,while copying also same(Glass/feeder).I cannot find any arc marks on drums.Also atried to replace entire process assembly.

If we print 5 or 6 pages strikes will start appears.And the strikes are not on the same portion of the prints or copyies.

Looks like some loose toner wandering around in the printer, dropping down on the ITB and then picked-up bij the paper.

Have you replaced only the ITB, or the cleaning blade too ?


Edit: what happens if you make 20-30 copy's of a white A4. You get more or less stains/stripes ?

Edit: what happens if you make 20-30 copy's of a white A4. You get more or less stains/stripes ?

I replaced the whole ITB Assembly.

When we copy or print more pages,it remains same.Srtikes not increasing or decreasing.

We have Almost 10 machines having the same issue.

You have to order the cleaning blade seperatly...

Oh, i really meant to copy 20-30 blank pages, there is no toner added then...

Do all 10 have the stripes on the same spot ?

Before i changed the cleaning blade with new one for one of the machines,any ways i will try to change new cleaning blade for this machine too.

Replace Secondary Transfer Roller
> then run Copier>Function>Cleaning>TNR-COAT

secondary transfer roller should be yellow in color.


Ten printers with the exact problem ?? are they in same building location

If all ten machines have same problem my bet is on the toner did not come from Canon. I have seen canon toner boxes look like canon except the hologram sticker was not the same. Nothing you can do about that except buy toner from Canon. I have a dozen or so machines and none do this. If the toner came from Canon I have not seen this problem.

The toners all are original Canon.We have more than 130 machine,only few machines giving this problem.

All the machine are not in the same locations.

I thought this will be a common problem for this series.

Anyway i will change the trasfer roller and run TNR-COAT

Hi,

Try to explore paper quality. Paper dust may pollute the machine. Clean the machine air filter.
What is the activity of this customer?

I believe that is fixing unit issue check and inspect the hot roller...good luck
