[Error Code] iRC4080 with E602-0001 only in the morning

I have an iRC4080 that pops an E602-0001 but only in the morning. They turn off the copier, turn it back on then everything is ok but it will return the next business day. I've read some of Canon tech pubs but haven't found anything directly for the iRC4080 only it's earlier incarnations. Any ideas....other than replace the machine please and thank you.

Try a defrag
With printer off_hold down the 1&9 key_while holding_power up_hold until white blocks are dropping, usually takes a while.
If it goes into download your ok, if not it will say NG.

HDD then may need replacement & reloaded with firmware.
