Canon c7065 printing half sheet after drum replacement. Please help

Hi, the canon irc7065 i am working in had meganta streaks on prints so i replaced the magenta drum. After replacement the printer only prints half the sheet in magenta. The other colors are fine.

I did the replacement correctly, but a lot of magenta toner came out while i was checking out the parts for anything wrong. Attached is a pic what the prints look like if i copy single color magenta.

    Please help.

Looks like the dev is depleted. The tiger striping pattern is typical. The chances of resurrecting this are pretty low as so much is missing. Looking at replacing the dev unit, as the carrier is likely also missing in great quanity, not just toner.

Even if the toner fell out while i replaced the drum? it didnt happen during operation.
Isn't there some command that would somehow refill the developer?

It's not just toner, the bigger problem is the carrier lost as well. Even forcing toner in won't establish the correct toner to carrier ratio, errors and image faults will be the result.

Install a new magenta dev and initialize it

I believe these are dual component, so would supply toner not developer. Canon does not sell the developer (powder) by itself just the developer unit that is filled with developer. I would take drum, developer out and check connections. You could try a toner stir for Magenta but if you are missing too much developer it may not come back. There is a part in the ITB unit on the transfer roller for color that comes out of place. You can get blank copies to light on one side. I had one the other day on a 7260 where the drive coupling on a color drum broke causing missing color because drum was not driving. The white plastic had gotten in ITB causing light side on yellow I thought was the yellow transfer roller but was a piece of the white plastic causing the problem.
