good day just working on canon ir3570 when I give a copy command it keep on showing me "close the main cover unit's right cover" at the top of the LCD and after about some 30 milliseconds it shows now "check covers are closed" at the button of the LCD. this two information keep on switching automatically. the machine had a heating problem which i finally change the heater and which i have test with another machine of same number and it working fine. pls help me out. thanks in advance.

If its pointing towards the lower right hand door there is a interuptor which can get bent out of the way so the actuator doesnt slot in between the photo interuptor, its actually covered by a cover if i recall. If its the main RHS door, the door actuator itself can get bent on the door, if you have been at the fuser make sure the door is fitted correctly. -

Also I had this problem. When you push in on the door the message goes away and if you keep it pushed in you can make copies. But if you release the door it will give you a paper jam or it will show the message to close the door. It ended up being the FK2-0384-000 SWITCH, MICRO. Figure 102 , part #27 in the manual. Might want to check it.Comment
