    canon irc3580i fixing unit noise

noise occurs after the paper has pass through the exit unit and/or when the rollers rotate while the machine is on stand-by mode.

serviced the gear side of the machine following teckat's (cleaning procedure) guide for removing grease & TP10 332a adjusting pressure on the spring leaf.

the noise disappeared after servicing but came back the next day.

any input will be greatly appreciated.

below is a video of the noise, starts at around 12second mark

    thanks

    Hi

It'll be the upper fixing heater assy making the noise.

Replace the upper assy with new one.

    Good luck
