    Canon IRC2030 thunk noise from the right side when powering on and duplexing

    Hello, anyone had a thunking noise coming from the right side when machines first turns on or when duplexing. Thanks in advance.

    had one like that, customer would call in for noise, get to the call no noise....turned out to be the fixing assy on the way out, could be alot of things on these machines, drums/itb/ id go for the fixing assy first

      Thank you Munster. The fuser was the first thing I replaced. It happens when you first turn it on. Single sided copies is fine. Only when i duplex when it makes that noise. Also no jamming either. when I manually push the 2nd transfer roller unit, it makes similiar noise. Possibly spring is not strong enough?
