    IR3030 Registration Problem ( Image Shifting )

    Hi Friend

I have a Canon IR 3030 that has this issue where the paper comes out perfect for the first 3 to 4 pages then after all prints will have NO lead edge and the image is moved over at least an inch. This happens with copies and print , but I noticed only A4R copy, PC to Print is Perfect in 2nd Tray Only Problem with 1st Tray. Then i made change 2 tray to A4 same problem is there then again i shifted to A4R.
Today i change registration clutch with new one but no luck same problem with 1st tray.

    Scan Image is Attached.

There is a pad on the registration sensor flag that causes problems I think. I think you can swap both tray assemblies when you swap guides and silver plate on right side to troubleshoot assembly. I like to take out the top paper assembly to take that pad off as you can reach back in and pull it off easy. ir4570-094-1.pdf I think the old style flag did not have metal over it and it would wear and things would vary, (in paper assembly).
