[Misc] ir 2520 takes time to print or copy

    hello,
am working on this two copiers both ir 2520 models ,i have just installed new photoconductor units done a good service and even reset them to factory default but the problem of taking time to print or copy more than 5 documents is really puzzling . because the machine just continues to run but no copy comes out so you just have to switch the machine off and give another command but of which its not a gurantee that it will workw. your help will be higly appreciated .
    thanks

Try to switch off machine and unplug for about 10 mins without ethernet cord in. Power on without ethernet cord attached. If you take the ethernet connection out and make a copy does it make a difference? Sounds like there is something stuck in the memory or could be a PS error. Try to direct print to the machine from laptop. If it prints directly with no delay you may have a network issue.

    Hope this helps

I had that problem with iR2520.
From back side open rear cover and You will see 3x clutches.Try to swap their places(from develop move clutch to registration,or another combination).
Problem will be solved if You recognize damaged clutch and replace with new one.

This can happen when toner is low and eithr 1. one cannot notice 2. trying some manouvre to continue printing 3. low-toner alarm cannot flash due to some malfunction.

Remedy: manually check the toner level, if low, refill with genuine one.
