Scan to E-Mail stopped working on irc5035

Salesman picked up A service account of a real estate company. All had gone well until machine decided to stop scanning to e-mail one afternoon late.
It initially was having authenticating issues so re input the credentials back in after I made sure they worked on a computer. I get sending resending then a NG or comm report.
I tried using the credentials we use for our company and same result. They are using gmail as the host, used dos command to ping said SMTP server it came back with different name than the original. Plugged that in also got same result. Have narrowed it down to maybe DNS change from ISP or Google, or port # change any help would be appreciated.
Yes it prints and yes you can pull it up on web page and yes after making each setting change I rebooted the machine.

Google has been having Auth problems with SMTP but I thought they had it fixed (my copiers seemed to be working). Be sure that you are using port #465 for SMTP.

Gmail account for copier

• under Outgoing mail, set Gmail SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com
• Configure Gmail SMTP user name as: your full Gmail address (including @gmail.com) Google Apps users may have to enter username@your_domain.com
• Configure Gmail SMTP password as: Your Gmail password
• Configure Gmail SMTP port as: 465 or 587
• Configure Gmail SMTP TLS/SSL required as: yes

If you tried configuring your SMTP serveron port 465 (with SSL) and port 587 (with TLS), but are still having troublesending mail, try configuring your SMTP to use port 25 (with SSL

Gmail for copier appears to be up and running. Tried it on two machines and they are working.
