toner for iradv c7270

Does anyone know if you can use cexv 31 toner (iradv c70xx series) in a iradv c7270 instead of cexv 45?
Customer has a 70xx and a 72xx series and has run out of toner on his 7270. I have advised against it, but I just wanted to knowif it was possible?

in the states the IRA-70xx and IRA-72xx both use the same toner. I cannot speak to european version though.

we have filled many different bottles using toner from the advance range when we have run out.
eg, filled a 46 from a 48 and the other way round 52 from 47 etc.
it must be the same range of machine do not use say an advance toner for an older machine as I have been told that advance toner contains wax? We did this once and it screwed the dev unit.

we have had no issues doing this part from the one we used advance toner for an IR machine and we have been doing this for 2 yrs or more just to get the machine going.
