Canon IPF 8400S

Dear All,
One of our Canon IPF 8400S showing the error replace the right print head.

Already replaced with new,still its giving the same error.Then replace all ink with new,still same.


Then removed and cleaned the purge unit,then we noticed that the purge unit is not sucking the ink in the right portion.

Need to replace the purge unit or it could be from some other sections?.

Advice please......

How do you know what is the "right portion" for the purge unit?

Your approach is very chaotic...

First you replace the head instead of going in SM and looking at the Nozzle Print check.

Than replacing the ink instead of visual checking if there are air bubbles in the tubes.

Than dismantling the purge unit instead of checking for movement and sucking ability.

I would suggest to follow the "books of service" and maybe getting some error code from Service mode.
