and the printer pulls out weird 11x17 light yellow paper that had shadow like front to back
There is one Thing you must know about the adv 6xxx and the 8xxx series... They are "White Writer" , means a soiled Laser mirror or Polygon means not faded but soiled prints. Maybe you shound give it a try. Regarding the Jam, there a multiple issues on this Box because of the using of bushings instead of ball bearings. Inspect the delivery assy carefully for seized shafts, also you should look at the assy that drives the delivery assy, there exists a modificated one with ball bearings, while the original one with bushings tends also to stuck.

Reagarding the 108 Jam, i found a Bulletin for you:

Thank you very much! What we found is when they brought back the rebuilt unit with the new duplex rollers, the flapper on the bottom of the duplex unit had the lever on the wrong side of the solenoid. My boss went with me and we took the fuser drawer out and straightened out the duplex hinge (tech pub about a stronger one but we did not have one). I did see the tech pub you posted. I had that problem on a 6075 but it was an error code. He has not called back (yet).
