[Misc] canon ir3235i dadf-u1 leaving the last page

the dadf-u1 on the canon ir3235i will feed all of the pages but the last one; the adf light goes out after the next the last page is feed; Then the adf
light come back on and the adf is ready to feed the last page; If you push on the top cover of the adf it will feed all of the pages; I checked and cleaned everything; I don't see why the flag for the adf paper present is not staying out of the sensor unless you depress the adf top cover? I don't
see anything out of place, broken, bent, or worn out. Puzzled why the adf page present flag/sensor is not aligned correctly.

maybe sensor mount a little bit higher?

the metal on the top door hinge could be bent causing it sit incorrectly.
i have also seen the paper pick up cover get warped and cause pick up issues

Problem :

The last original of a stack will not feed from the DADF-U1. No jams are indicated or logged in the jam history. The original present light will turn briefly off and then turn back on. If only one original is placed in the DADF it will feed correctly.

Solution :

The solution was to reform the bracket that holds the SR5 document set sensor in the up direction. The following image shows the location of SR5 as viewed from the rear of the DADF.

I had this on a different model exactly like this says but I think it is more common on this model. Take the cover off and bend the bracket so the paper present sensor sees a single sheet. Adf thinks there is no paper there when it gets to last sheet.

Try replaced this two electromagnetic cluth fk2-6870-000
