[Misc] Canon iR 3235 plateen problem

Hello,

I manage an Canon iR 3235. Whenever we need to copy A4 from plateen, the paper select shows "Auto A3" and copy comes out in A3. The paper select is set to "Auto". My research on copytechnet tells me that there could a problem with "SENS-CNF". I have tried all possible values there (0,1,2) but no success.

Kindly note that problem does not arise with ADF. It comes only while copying A4 from plateen. Help would be much appreciated.

sometimes the papersetting from drawers were set on heavy paper, then that drawer is not chosen

The problem is not of drawer but coming from platen (copy board glass).

Plus i restored the machine to factory setting but with no success.

sometimes dc-con clear will help. the ports to all sensors are being reset.
you can manually choose all drawers?

otherwise set the mfp on drawer 1 A4...
if user wants to copy A3 he just choose for drawer A3.
after few minutes the mfp will reset itself to drawer A4 ☺
