Canon IR 2020I flaked control panel

hi folks, Im servicing a 2020i series the the control panel begins its normal screen, when the bar, or before the is complete, the panel just goes blank. After turning on/off a few times I can it to power p and print copies o.k. Cstomer says they lost powera few times before this happened. when I can get into service mode, only sssw comes up. I'm thinking control panel...?.. In service mode under sssw's, I did see an error 355, I cleared thru sssw mode, but code never comes up, when I can get it to come to ready.....any ideas?

did you checked power with your universal meter?
