It may have something to do with the counter PCB. If you have not done anything to the boards you may just try and reseat the counter PCB. I am not sure what board it is on (possibly one of the main controllers?). I don't have any of those machines yet. If you changed a board you have to transfer all the small PCB's with it. The service manual just says to contact the sales company. I went to the canon website and looked and I am guessing at the code. Nothing on this model but other models. If the counter PCB is bad you have to get one from canon.

Found another tech pub on another machine. They are saying serial pcb error. Again I don't know where this is located on this model. I don't think they usually just go bad. If someone was disconnecting boards they may have missed a connection.

If you only replace the top counter pcb Can it work ??
In other cases, such as machine, because I have to exchange the counter and serial pcb

They are made to stay with the machines. If you are a Canon dealer they may sell you the boards. People want to reset the counters, not sure why someone would want to exchange the serial pcb. I would not be able to help you get either boards and from my experience here people won't help you. Why do you have to exchange the counter and serial pcb? I thought you needed help with an error code.
