colour toner on secondary trans roller (C5045i)

Hi,
got this m,c and y drum units at 165% would this cause the toner to roller? Never come across this before as new and don't want to do a expensive repair and still got the problem.Is it possible to clean the roller and what with. Thanks for any help

The 5045 is a relatively old machine.I am assuming by toner you are not refering to the registration marks that will frequently be seen on the roller. Yes, the drums at that life count certainly would start leaking, especially if they are not using OEM toner. What percantage are the developers at? Yes you can clean 2TR by running 2TR cleaning cycle.

If you are talking about the outer secondary roller on the door I replace the developer units with the color on the roller, usually magenta or cyan. At 165% on that machine the drums are due to be replaced. You are lucky to get that much on them.
