Have a copier that has not changed no matter what I throw at it, Magenta and cyan are way off on gradation adj. and test pages 6 the grid I think it was 6 and 10, yellow and black line up, items replaced. all drums, transfer belt unit with cleaning blade. secondary transfer unit roller on fuser unit. all lasers were removed and set cam to home position. matched laser code settings with simulation laser settings all matched. Customer didn't notice problem till she was done copying a run of 50 pages, half were bad. Thanks for feedback.

Make sure the ITB UNIT is sitting straight, there is a front side bracket adjustment, I don't follow procedures, I just mark & eyeball & test.

Also check the plastic rail that unit slides into, have experienced cracked ones that thow registration off.

Also remove that patch read unit_sits over ITB, take apart ,& Clean .

One more point, DRUM DRIVE UNIT, have replaced these also.

Did you check the door spec for the patch reader? Is the patch reader dirty? I feel your pain I have had to fight this before and the problem ended with a brand new complete itb. If your problem is for sure isolated to one laser unit and two colors then I would be looking for another laser unit. As Teckat said check your plastic arms that lift the ITB. Also on the left side near registration, make sure both of those springs are there. If they are gone this can help break the lift arms more than once!

Make sure green dot on ITB is toward back of unit. Run service mode>level 2>copier>func>clear>reg clr>. Exit. Power cycle. Run quick and full gradation. This fixes sub scan reg. issues most times.

Right and that be done once and recommended only once. When it comes back be prepared to replace the ITB.
