c7055 auto paper select not working off the glass

I had to replace the reader controller for another problem. I re-input all the specs from the rcon label, initialized ADF sensors and went through all the adjustments under Function>CCD. Paper select works fine from ADF and when printing, just not off the glass - it selects 11x17 almost all the time unless its a much smaller original.

I think its just a setting or adjustment that I missed, but the service manual I have for the c7055 series only covers the printer. Any suggestions?

Still having the issue with not auto-selecting the correct size paper when placing the original on the glass. I'm sure it's just an adjustment or setting I've overlooked.

Can someone list the steps/adjustments for adjusting the sensors under the glass or when replacing the reader controller on a IRAc7055? The manual I have only covers the printer. Thanks.

Double check these settings Kev, also is the scan lamp turning on when you open and close the DADF?

Yes, the lamp does come on when the feeder is lowered. It copies fine when manually selecting the paper drawer.
