irc 3580 is displayed cover front opened

HI,

I have a canon irc 3580 where " close the front cover " is displayed but it seems everything is right

does anyone know the problem? it could be the power supply?

I had a 2880 doing that and if I remember right I pulled the plate on the door out sort of added a couple of mm by bending the plate and no more problem?
Sorry I can't remember exactly but it worked.

you are right the problem was the switch interlock assy
