The IRA c5051 can download directly from the internet. If the machine is working and you just want to update firmware:
Go to [Service Mode] Level 1:
1.) Press the RESET button
2). Press [Setting/Registration (User Mode)] button on the control panel.
3). Press [2] and [8] buttons at the same time on the control panel.
4). [Service Mode] screen is shown.
5). Press [Updater] button on screen and follow the prompts.

This info is in section 2 of the service manual.

I don't know if the 4045 has this capability.
