    IR3245i jamming

I have an intermittent jamming IR3245i at the drum. The lead edge of the paper (when clearing this jam) is curved going into the top side of the drum as if the paper followed the drum curvature and crashed. The paper can be fresh from a new ream and this will still happen. Is this a transfer roller failure? Any ideas would help much. Thank you!!

We don't replace transfer rollers which I don't like. Changing to letterR will most likely fix it. I change my loop from 63 to 80 and that seems to help. I get a lot of machines doing this when the humidity gets high. Make sure that metal strap at the left of the registration roller is making good contact. Most of my calls on this model and the models before it were for jams. Make sure the pick up rollers are good. Not a reliable feed in my opinion. The jam code could help. I have had some on the 2270 series the only way I could fix double sided jams was to change paper to letterR (had all the updates which I think the 3245 has most of them).

you can make extra guides or change to 100g paper.
