I have to go to a call with a 8200 series and a finisher N1. They have complained prior about occasional stapling misalignment, perhaps one set out of dozens. A tech went to this call previously, and found no problem after testing "many" sets. No jam or alarm codes either, according to the last report from the tech. Checked bulletins, found nothing, have the latest firmware ready to load as well. Has anyone else had this or a similar issue? Hoping to get a experienced idea or opinion before I head there, prepping the usb stick with firmware now. Thanks!

I dont know if this will be helpful but the only finishers Ive had issue with not stapling correctly thus far in my limited canon experience are on the 5000 series.
paper being pushed out and not grabbed back in by the finisher.

I set it to 16 or above last one I set to 22
As i say not sure t will be of use to you.

Looks like the customer has been a bit rough with the main door, as the release latch has been bent. The stapler doesn't get released as it should.Comment
