A friend called and said his PC745 wasnt working. The start light is green but pressing it woulndt do anything. Possible that the switch is bad? No other indicators are lit.

possible start push switch bad or bad solder joint on switch on pc board. check plastic piece from start button foe switch contact, and make sure no pc board standoffs are broken.check connectors on control panel for proper seating. -
