    ImagePress E0261-0102-05 Error code

    Hi guys,

I'm getting the error E0261-0102-05 after the printer starts up. The temperatures in service mode displays

Fix2-LE 105 deg when the error occurs

Could you point me in the right direction to resolve this problem with the fixing unit?

    Thanks

I've checked the pressure roller in the Secondary fixing unit and the Bushings don't look cracked. The Pressure roller doesn't look like it came off the shaft support.

This error comes up either when the printer starts up, but if it starts up ok, it comes up when a print is running.

I know in the service manual it says Check faulty connection. Page 17-28

    1. Check the following for faulty connection/ loose wires -> Disconnect thenreconnect the connectors.
    - Terminal mount (J7863)
    - Fixing heater driver PCB (J01/ J10)

    - DC controller PCB 1-2 (J1003/ 1004)2. Replace fixing heater driver.
    3. Replace DC controller PCB 1-2.

Going to try this and I'll report back.

have you checked that the covers on the main unit are perfectly shut?

the one in far right in the tight space makes some funny error codes if its not locked properly.

you can see if the one of the temperatures are negative. don't remember if its in the 1st or 2nd page.

also have you checked that the halogens are OK and not broken?
